Steve Leroux

Steve Leroux

Steve Leroux is the founder of Frontline Fitness, bringing over 17 years of experience as a paramedic to his role. His extensive background in emergency services has equipped him with a deep understanding of the physical demands faced by frontline professionals. Steve is a Professor of Physical Education at Confederation College and holds certifications including the OPEX Coaching Certificate Program (OPEX CPP), National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP), and CrossFit Level 1, reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and expertise in fitness training.

Steve's journey into fitness began with a passion for promoting health and wellness among paramedics and frontline workers. As a physical education professor, he has dedicated himself to preparing over 100 paramedic students to meet rigorous physical standards required for graduation and entry into the workforce. Steve's approach combines practical experience with a compassionate coaching style, empowering individuals to achieve their fitness goals safely and effectively.

Beyond his professional achievements, Steve leads an active lifestyle, participating in various physical activities both inside and outside the gym. His holistic approach to fitness emphasizes not only physical strength and endurance but also mental resilience and emotional well-being. Steve is known for his genuine kindness, positive demeanor, and unwavering support for those he mentors and trains, making him a valued leader in the fitness and paramedic communities.

Jamie Oakenfold

Jamie Oakenfold is a pivotal team member at Frontline Fitness, bringing a wealth of expertise and over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry. Specializing in fitness training, Jamie offers a range of tailored services including personalized 1:1 sessions, motivating group classes, and accessible virtual training. Her extensive certifications include CanFitPro Certified Trainer, Pre & Postnatal Fitness Certified, Pregnancy & Postpartum Athleticism 2.0, DTS Olympic Weightlifting Coach, and more, showcasing her dedication to continuous professional development.

 

Jamie's role at Frontline Fitness is characterized by her unwavering commitment to client success and well-being. She collaborates closely with program participants to design customized training programs that meet individual goals and needs. Jamie's approach is grounded in safety, effectiveness, and a passion for helping others achieve optimal fitness levels.
